How to Order Antiquarian items

Unless you are in a particular rush to receive the discs you have ordered, we suggest that the best way to place an order is to download the Order Form, complete it, and then mail it to ALPHA-RECORDS at the above address. This is almost certainly the best way for customers in Britain to reach us.

We have found in the past that almost all problems associated with credit card payments have been caused by customers sending us an e-mail which contains an incorrect card number, expiry date or security code. Therefore, we suggest that if you are going  to order via e-mail, it is best to first fill in a downloaded Order Form and only then to send the information to us by e-mail. That way, all the required information has been collected together in one place, has been checked, and can then be sent. In addition, the downloaded Order Form can remind you of exactly what you ordered.

 All prices shown in the lists of items for sale are in British Pounds Sterling, and are exclusive of postage and packing costs – which will vary, depending on the service used and the weight, size and shape of the packet, and the destination to which it is to be sent.

Please note that prices may change without notice if items presently listed are sold, but then replaced by similar items which have just been newly acquired. This is particularly true for items from overseas, where the value of the local currency against the British Pound Sterling can vary considerably within a short period of time.

Payment must be received by ALPHA-RECORDS before the items that you have ordered are despatched to you, and may be made by:

• Credit cards: Mastercard/Eurocard or Visa (not American Express, Diners Club or Maestro). Give your name as it appears on the card, together with the card number, expiry date, and also the Card Security Code (printed on the signature strip on the back of the card) and sign the Order Form (if the address you give is not the registered address of the card-holder, you must inform us). Please note that we do NOT accept Pay-Pal payments
• British Postal Order (for British customers only);
• Personal cheque drawn in £ sterling on a British bank account (but allow for a delay, particularly for overseas residents, because we do not ship orders until the bank has notified us that the cheque has cleared);
• Cash by REGISTERED MAIL and at your own risk. Send the equivalent in your local currency of the £ sterling amount due. NOTE: If sending currency that is neither Euros (€), nor US Dollars (US$), please add 2% to pay for currency-exchange and bank-commission charges.
• For large purchases, it may be faster and safer to arrange for payment to be made via a bank-to-bank transfer. Please contact us to arrange this if you wish to use this method.

Please note that 78-rpm discs are extremely heavy and very fragile, and are therefore expensive to pack and ship.
